Our Official Business Description

​My Sport Space is a mobile platform with two portals: 1) For the end-user customers (individuals, teams, organizations) to book an athletic facility for their practice, games, or event and 2) For the Facility Owners to manage their rentable athletic areas with profit-maximizing efficiency, market those areas to the public, and accept online reservations and payments.  My Sport Space is a one-stop booking solution that is flexible to find alternate locations and times to meet the community's demand for athletic venues.  Written by Julie-Impressive!

Established in 2019

After years of experience in the the sports club and athletic facility industries, we identified a problem that facilities scheduled rental space via spreadsheets and stand alone scheduling software.  As a result, those looking for courts and field had to call each facility to find space.  Also, those facilities had no way to market their unused space to the those needing courts, etc.  They contacted Rob Moore, the Chief Technology Officer for Hertz Global Holdings and together they developed a solution that benefited both the users and the facilities.

Our Goal

For parents, team managers and coaches our goal is to make it easier for people to find and book court and field rentals. 

​For facilities, our goal is to help them get access to consumers needing court and field space, market excess capacity and improve operating results.

Our Team

Julie Mesa
Co-founder

Julie is a CPA and the CFO of the Oklahoma Swarm Basketball Club and the HIVE Sports Complex.  In that capacity Julie has overseen revenue growth of over 500% in the last five years.  Prior to the Swarm, Julie had over 10 years of accounting experience at Hertz and three years of public accounting experience.  Julie is the business brains and keeps us accountable! 

Don Serup
Co-founder

Don has over 30 years experience in the travel industry serving most recently as the Senior VP and Chief Risk officer and Acquisition and Integration VP for Hertz Global Holdings.  Don founded the Oklahoma Swarm elite basketball club in 2007 and has been the President of the Swarm/Hive Sports Complex since its inception.  This My Sport Space thing was his idea.

Rob Moore
Co-founder

Rob has over 30 years of experience in the IT and Travel Industry.  He recently retired from Hertz Global Holdings, where he most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer.  Rob is the chief A-ha guy who put the idea into reality.

Clint Hedrick

Clint has spent 15+ years creating mysterious and wonderful apps for companies like Hertz Corporation, where he worked has a Senior Software Engineer in the Innovations Lab.  He built My Sport Space and he works out--We don't mess with him!
